Is the free plan any less accurate?
No. Accuracy and speed are identical on every plan — Free included. Paid plans differ only in volume (Free is capped per week), archive history, and power features. We never ship a worse experience to free users.
What’s the archive, exactly?
Every transcription is saved locally as a private, searchable record — your spoken second brain. Free keeps 7 days; Plus and Pro keep it permanently. It’s an open format you can export anytime.
What does Pro’s “bring your own keys” mean?
Pro adds a privacy mode where inference can run through your own provider keys (or locally), so your words never touch our servers — plus automation and priority features. It’s a control/privacy upgrade, not a cheaper path.
Is my voice private?
Yes. Local-first by default, no telemetry, and we never train on your voice. The network panel is auditable; the app runs in airplane mode.
How do I get my license after paying?
Our payment processor confirms the subscription and we email your license key shortly after. Paste it into Acousmos under Preferences → License. Trouble? support@acousmos.com.
