The archive, search, hotkeys, LLM styles, snippets, dictionary, Smart Routing, provider testing, export, and local data ownership are the same. The plans differ only in who supplies the AI layer.

Questions.
How do I get my license after paying?
Our payment processor sends the receipt; we send the license key by email shortly after the subscription is confirmed. Paste it into Acousmos under Preferences → License to activate.
What if my license email never arrives?
Check spam first, then write to support@acousmos.com with the email you paid with — we'll re-issue and resend within a day.
BYOK — what does "bring your own keys" mean?
You set ASR and LLM API keys (e.g. OpenAI, Deepgram, Anthropic) inside Acousmos. Voice and transcripts stay in your local archive; inference calls go directly from your device to the providers you choose. We never see the audio.
Cloud — what's actually hosted?
Cloud routes inference through Acousmos so you don't deal with API keys at all. Your archive still lives on your device. We don't train on your voice and we don't keep transcripts.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime through Acousmos subscription management where available, or by emailing support@acousmos.com from the email you paid with. Access lasts through the end of the paid period; your local archive stays put forever, license or no. We aim to respond to support and billing requests within 3 business days, usually sooner.
Is there a discount or promo code?
If you have a code, enter it on the secure checkout page — the promo-code field is enabled there.
Is Acousmos affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other AI providers?
No. Acousmos is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Deepgram, or any other third-party AI provider; all trademarks belong to their respective owners. On BYOK you use your own provider accounts; on Cloud, inference is routed through Acousmos on your behalf.
