No. Accuracy and speed are identical on the trial and on every paid plan. Plans differ only in volume and power features — never in how well it works.
Pro adds a privacy mode where inference runs through your own provider keys — or fully local models that work offline — so your words never touch our servers. Talking to the provider directly also skips our relay, so it’s usually a touch faster. It’s a control/privacy upgrade, not a cheaper path.
Right after payment, your license key is shown on the confirmation page — copy it and paste it into Acousmos under Preferences → License. We also email a copy as a backup, but you don’t need to wait for it. If you ever lose the key, email support@acousmos.com from the address you paid with.
